To be exempt from Sales Tax in the state where you make purchases, you need a Resale Certificate. If you intend to sell merchandise in another state, you may also need a Resale Certificate there. urbanea requires a Resale Certificate on file to approve any tax-exempt sales. 

Additionally, for purchases in California, an extra form must be filled out.
